The design that we created with their assistance, and the placing of the flat on the land, has resulted in a house with great airflow, and the house remains relatively cool on a hot summer’s day – a great saving on electricity. Once winter starts, I will be enjoying time relaxing on the large sundrenched porch, or sitting by the lounge room window lapping up the sun’s rays. The layout inside makes it feel like a little home, rather than a granny flat in a backyard. The large kitchen is fantastic for baking lots of yummy deserts!

We requested many items that were not standard for most of the flats that we visited on open days – wider eaves, a very large wardrobe in the main bedroom, a separate bath and shower in the bathroom, a red front door and solar water heating – another bonus for the electricity bill. We were very fussy with some of our requests, but each one was handled with patience and a smile.

It has been a pleasure working with you to create the home.
